Hugging the comfort of sleep,

I softly awake from the rays of the sun.

My spirit grounds itself like water.

Surfacing from the petals of the embracing sleep.

I become aware of my body through a deep breath drawn.

Like the blossoming of a flower,

I stretch into a day of more adventures.

Dancing like whirling leaves in the wind,

into the colours of the rainbow.
